100 % aqueous based, for protective film coating which offers controlled release without being affected by pH
Film Coating of tablets, pellets, granules & powders. Colour less and transparent or coloured with pigments can also be used with water.
To procure slow release of the active substance independently of pH in the digestive tract.
In transdermal systems to regulate release of drugs.
To isolate drugs whose tolerability in the upper G.I. tract is poor.
In granulation to isolate incompatible active ingredients and optimizing mechanical properties.
To improve compressing properties during manufacturing tablet ( hardness, friability & capping)
Insulating hygroscopic cores
To improve self protection against environmental effects like humidity, light, temperature, .to retain the active drug stable for a longer duration.
|
Additives: |

No Plasticizer required.
